Hello,
I am building my first website and I have a problem that can be solved easily (I presume)... On my home page, the printButton and emailButton are OK, with their images. But on the other pages, I have only the texts of these buttons.
Thanks for suggestions.

I am not using Firebug for now.

The html code for the home page is :

<td align="right" width="100%" class="buttonheading">
<a rel="nofollow"
onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,titlebar=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,directories=no,location=no'); return false;" title="Imprimer" href="/cuisinesdebretagne/index.php?view=article&amp;catid=78:chroniquedumois&amp;id=3:vacancesenbleu&amp;tmpl=component&amp;print=1&amp;layout=default&amp;page="><img alt="Imprimer" src="/cuisinesdebretagne/templates/etoile/images/printButton.png"/></td>

<td align="right" width="100%" class="buttonheading">
<a onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','width=400,height=350,menubar=yes,resizable=yes'); return false;" title="Envoyer" href="/cuisinesdebretagne/index.php?option=com_mailto&amp;tmpl=component&amp;link=929bd6bb427b289795f2a9d32fb95a52553db785"><img alt="Envoyer" src="/cuisinesdebretagne/templates/etoile/images/emailButton.png"/></td>

And for the page without the image :

<p class="buttons">
<a onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','width=400,height=300,menubar=yes,resizable=yes'); return false;" class="editlinktip hasTip" href="/cuisinesdebretagne/index.php?option=com_mailto&amp;tmpl=component&amp;link=aHR0cDovL2xvY2FsaG9zdC9jdWlzaW5lc2RlYnJldGFnbmUvaW5kZXgucGhwP3ZpZXc9aXRlbXMmY2lkPSZpZD01JTNBbW91bGVzbWFyaW5pZXJlJm9wdGlvbj1jb21fZmxleGljb250ZW50Jkl0ZW1pZD0xMg=="> Recommander <a onclick="window.open(this.href,'win2','status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,titlebar=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,directories=no,location=no'); return false;" class="editlinktip hasTip" href="/cuisinesdebretagne/index.php?view=items&amp;cid=2%3Arecettes&amp;id=5%3Amoulesmariniere&amp;pop=1&amp;tmpl=component&amp;print=1&amp;option=com_flexicontent&amp;Itemid=12"> Imprimer </p>

Joomla seems to know where to find images but not Flexicontent...

hello
... use code tag for forum is more clear ...
no link ?
witch version of flexicontent ?
on item page ore category page ?
witch template (blog/default/custom ..)
use firebug to find problem but you didn't have any code for image
Code:
<img alt="Envoyer" src="/cuisinesdebretagne/templates/etoile/images/emailButton.png"/>
check your configuration if image of print button aren't desactived
(global config of flexicontent /config of category / config of item)
regards

I am guessing your home page is not a flexicontent page e.g. it is com_frontpage so that is why your icons are showing.

For icons in FLEXIcontent pages,
-- Go to global settings of FLEXIcontent and under group Page configuration, check that the show icons parameter is enabled.

Thanks for the answer. I don't know exactly what I have done but I have the icons on all pages now. But there is a difference between the homepage which seems not to be a flexicontent page, as you say.
How can I change the homepage to become a flexicontent page if it is important to do so.

Good day
