sorry for explaination. I'll try again :

2 url are pointing to the same item (/item/1126-pyrando)
Code:
http://www.rando-trekking.com/organisateurs-guides/item/1126-pyrando http://www.rando-trekking.com/organisateurs-guides/accompagnateurs-guides/item/1126-pyrando

one url is visible in the main category and the second one is from the sub-category where the item is stored

category = /organisateurs-guides
sub-category = /organisateurs-guides/accompagnateurs-guides

This happen for all my items in this category

It is always the case in all my website : that also happen with an other type of content and others categories

not sure it is good for SEO...

maybe use depth option on menu option (level 0, 1 ...)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I will try to explain here and you decide how you want to setup /configure your site:

1. An item will show up into ALL categories it is assigned to.
2. If the category options, You set the: "show items from subcategories", then it will show any item for the 1st level subcategories.

The above is the expected behavior.

Let's say you have A and B categories, where B is a subcategory of A

If you assign an item to both A and B categories, then it will show up in A regardless of if you set to show sub-category items or not.

If you assign an item only to B category, then it will show up in A, ONLY IF you enable for A to show items for subcategories.

Is something different than the above happening?

Regards

My problem is that cause 2 different URL for each item
That is not good for SEO

By default rel="canonical" is enabled for item URLs, unless you disable for every item individually.

This means that search engine will treat page as a single content even if coming from different URLs.

1. click on any of the 2 different items URLs
2. do "view page source" or whatever your browser calls it.
3. Do a search for rel="canonical" it should be inside head.

Many major search engines read and "respect" this, including Google.
