hi,micker.
the changes iv very simple - i replace type of frontend-submission fields from hidden "input" to radiobox.
so, if you as admin choose SOME (not all) categories within users can submit data, then users on frontend will can CHOOSE between them, instead of posting to all.

just compare shot to images from top of topic (sorry, its in Russian but its no meter i think :) )

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

I'm having an issue... not sure if it is specific to this modification.

When a user submits an article through the frontend the start publish date gets set for the current date + 1 day.

This means that the articles will not appear until 24 hours later or I manually change the publish date.

Any ideas what could be causing this behavior? Perhaps I have missed a setting.

Hi,
It seems, this form doesn't get alias, right? How can we add this feature?

Thanks

I have the same issue as first post above. I have installed Flexicontent 1.5.4 stable (r558) and no change has occurred. This only happens when submitting a new item and doesn't allow the user to choose a category. When editing, one can then choose the categories.

I completely uninstalled the Flexicontent (old version that was upgraded) and did a fresh install. Everything is working now and I'm very happy. Albeit that it will take a while to repopulate the database with items (70 of them), templates, fields, modules and menu items at least this component is now working as it should (maybe look into why an upgrade isn't fixing these problems).

I thank you very much for your all your efforts. I believe Flexicontent to be the best.
