Upgrade Question

1) My client has the 1.5.0 version, and now we want to update it with the 1.5.3, she has had 4 additional custom templates made and in use, and has nearly 1500 articles now, if I upgrade and install the new 1.5.3 over the old, will this wipe out or change the existing templates or affect the articles?
2) need to know where to add more space or character length for the article titles (in the code), clients titles are 2-3 lines long in some cases. thanks

1. I never update for 1.5.0 to 1.5.3c
The simplest way to test is to get a copy of the site and upgrade on a test site...

2. You can customize the css code in the category.css ant item.css files of your template
(you can use FireBug for Firefox to do some tests)
