Articles don't work anymore after FC install

I installed FLEXIcontent, I imported the section I wanted and bound the articles, unfortunately these articles don't work anymore. I also tried to make a new FC menu item for an imported category, but it doesn't work at all..

Error I get from the FLEXIcontent category holding some of the newly imported articles:
"Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /homepages/10/d293901068/htdocs/pcw/components/com_flexicontent/views/category/view.html.php on line 173"

Error I get when trying to directly access an imported article:
"Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /homepages/10/d293901068/htdocs/pcw/components/com_flexicontent/views/items/view.html.php on line 118"

Any ideas on that ? FLEXIcontent is a great component and I really want to use it to better manage my website.

clean joomla cache
and retry your operation

I tried login out and login in again, I cleaned all the cache and purged the expired cache, furthermore I tried enabling disabling some of the FLEXIcontent options: JoomFish support, Versioning.. and unfortunately I have the same problem.

Strange.

May be the PHP Version.
Can you post your configuration?

I am having the same problem with last FlexiContent. The problem appeared after installing the JoomThumbnail plugin ( sitetranslation.org/joom-thumbnail.html ).

When I try to view a flexi-content article which has redimensioned images, I get the same error, but in another file (Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in ....\joomla\components\com_flexicontent\views\items\view.html.php on line 118)

The code affected is this:
I'm using FLEXIcontent version 1.5.3c stable (r354)
