Printing option was created by Eraser

Is there any way to create printing option of catalog or blog view? I can get the print button on item page, but that's not I'm after.

Hi Rivo,
You're right there isn't printing option in the category view.
I'll try to develop that for the RC release.

So far I've been capable to get RAW layout of the component with that URL: www.my-site.ee/index.php?option=com_flex...tion=com_mycomponent &tmpl=component.

But from that point on, I'm stuck.

What would you like to do exactely?
- Add a print button on each item (like in standard Joomla)
- Add a button that allow to print the whole category layout.

Yep. Exactly that!

So far I've managed to come up with one work-around:

Create category
Copy the URL of Category
Insert that URL to Category Description and add &tmpl=component to it
Link is opened in new window or in pop-up window

It's not the best solution, since:

I have to inset link manually to all categories
Output doesn't look very nice without CSS
I do have to instruct users need to be instructed to press CTRL+P or choose printing option from menu

So, if there is easier and better option, I would really like to find it.
