How to show a category in two different view templates?

I’d like to have two menu items that shows a simple and a full view of the same category.
The simple view could display fields #1, #2 and #3;
the full view could display fields #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 etc.
Can be defined a different template from the menu item to show the same category with different templates or I have to build the full template and hide the fields using the “Add css to edit form” in menu items parameter?
A selectable template from menu item could be a cleaner solution.

But this is a very messy solution. So each item is twice.
