Hello, i have done work on this one,

added control of it to image fields
(i ll add to custom category image too ..)
(and implementation needs a couple of more options and also language string)

Inside image field configuration:
You can enable when the image will be allowed in facebook listings, in views:
- category,
- item,
- module
!! e.g. you want to disable it when image appear inside a module


There is a reason why you site does not list images:
Facebook select images with 3 priorities:
1. images declared via the new way (Open Graph Protocol)
2. images declared via the old way (link Tag with image_src)
3. images found inside your page

If you images are not listed in your site then you have a "facebook" plugin that uses 1 or 2 to suggest some images to Facebook

Do you want to test latest build, it has many improvements, (and a couple of important bugfixes) but it might break something , and i will commit the "facebook images" support via Open Graph Protocol

I forgot to mention the option 2.

--to select which image size you will suggest to facebook: small, medium, large

and i consider adding suggestion to facebook for title and description
