VERY weird. I searched the forums, and found a post (unanswered) that seems similar to mine:
www.flexicontent.org/forum/index
... opic#p3051
My category:
365daysofgrowingthings.com/daily-resources
Had 14 items in it. That was because if I put more than 14 items in this category, it would throw a blank screen.
Actually, that's not exactly true. I can put in an item with a title and description, and it was fine. But if I put in tags, blank. If I remove tags and put in an image, blank. If I remove an image and put in a weblink, blank.
So there was something funky there.
It was not a pagination issue. I double checked to make sure that was working fine (I had it set to 20 - changed it to 16, then 10 - pagination worked, blank problem still happened).
As soon as I remove that extra item, the problem went away.
So, I immediately started thinking about memory issues, and went to my php.ini
I changed my memory_limit from 32MB to 64MB:
memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (32MB)
So I'm pushing it... and it still didn't fix this site:
www.365daysofstyle.com/style-resources
Which has a whopping 49 records.
It looks like FLEXIcontent is hogging processing resources.
This is a big issue, as each day a new resource gets added to these categories. At the end of a year, there will be 365. Then 730 after two years and so on.
I'm hoping there are some ideas on how to fix this, since my style site went live and the gardening site is supposed to launch today - and blank pages will keep appearing as resources are added.
Thank you.
