Items not copying

I am trying to copy one article 'item' but when i do, only the article title is copied (with [copy] added to title, but there is no actual content that has been copied as it is just blank.

the problem is i have managed to copy many times without problem before, but since upgrading i am unable to copy the article content.

any ideas what i could try?

(i know i could go into the content area and copy that manually, but that isnt fixing the problem and i need to copy articles often)

The copy feature does work. However, I too experience the same issue you're having. But after you make your item copies, log out of the admin area and then log back in. Your copies should be working now.

Wondering if it is a cache issue. But I use another component (shop component) that I hacked to make a copying feature and it works just fine. The copies show right up.

I was not completely correct with my above statement. After you make a copy you have to go into the copy and then click on cancel. You then should be able to go right back into it and it'll work.

I've also come across this problem. But only since updating to 1.5.2 Stable (build 166). I'm aslo running ACESEF and flexiacces 1.0.4.

Logging out and in again does seem to work - but it's faster to just manually copy the description content across.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I've run into the same problem, and the story is hiding in the latest version in the version history on the right side of the editor.

Try clicking for latest version in the version history.
