image fields stopped working

Hi - I have opened an issue:

but I'm not sure why how to resolve it.

Thanks a lot for the work around (taking the old code on github).
But that fixes it only in admin-item-form for me.

Any suggestion to quick fix it also when i have a Frontend-Upload-Form?

Currently this bug breaks more than one live website, that makes it urgent, unfortunately.

Need Time be patient this bug affect only flexicontent beta

ok, how do I see if I have the beta version installed?

My setup says:
- Flexicontent 4.2.1 (2023-07-15) (no mention of beta in the "manage extension" screen)
- Joomla 4.4.4
- php 8.1.0 (local), 8.1.28 (live)

You can try downloading the latest stable version of FLEXIContent (v4.2.1) from the official GitHub repository:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/tree/v4.2.1

We don't typically use frontend editing on our client sites, so I don't have a specific fix for this issue.

For us, the issue is the latest FLEXIContent is required due to PHP 8.1 now being the standard. Many other Joomla Extensions require 8.1 (regular labs), or the extension will not work. I'm unsure if v4.2.1 is compatible with your server (8.1.0).

I am hoping a fix comes, as it seems to be a major BUG that breaks sites.
