display problems

I have another strange problem, I think it's a configuration issue, I searched but I didn't find anything that could help me understand which parameters to change
the problem is that if I list a category, a square appears where an image is expected
as you can see from the photo
 
the other problem is that I try to open the article, it only displays the title without the content
