Hello Everybody!

I dont want users to select a default category on the frontend form.

So I selected the default category in my type but I dont know where I select the default type for frontend form.

How can I enable a default type to be automatically filled when I user tries to upload an item on frontend, so I dont need to feel the category?

Thanks!

hello
in your type you can auto select category and and you can hide type field

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

I have already selected but when we enter the add item form, the type is not automatically selected, and so, we get this message about category, as the system cannot guess category without type.

Is there a place where I can select a default value for type?

I only found default item inside Configuration --> Item Form --> Joomla article form -- >Default type.

But it didnt type selected automatically in add item form frontend.

hello 2 ways :
- edit your type configuration > authoring tab > set your wanted configuration
for auto select your type you need to create a sumission form in front and you can configure all options
