Hide Descriptions and Assignments tab

I created a new content item submission form menu for registered users to fill out the form.

I want to remove the tabs "Description" and "Assignments" as they serve no purpose and can be submitted as blank/empty fields. I can do this via CSS I think but is there an option somewhere? I have looked everywhere but can't find one!

go to your type ot global config (flexicontent)
in form tab you can manage form display with template and field display

configuration > Item form > Item Form - Both where I set the "Hide description field" to "Frontend" but it still shows up. Could you please guide me further on what I'm missing?

I also don't see anything about the "Assignments" tab. If I set it to _skip_, the content of that tab simply shows in the other tab.

you can use flat template and disable field in item form
