Link to Article Not Generating Right URL

Hello,

I have a Flexi category page and articles within the category include links to other articles within the category. None of the articles within the category have their own menu items.  IE: articles A, B and C in my category and article B contains a link to article A.

To select the link destination, I'm using the editor's Insert Link option and searching for the destination article's title.  The URL that I'm brought to when clicking the link on the front end is www.example.com/categoryMenuAlias/item/articleID .

Ideally, I should be brought to www.example.com/categoryMenuAlias/item/articleAlias

Can this be changed? I thought it might be the routing on the type, but it's currently set to Redirect.  Allowed and Route to both led me to the home page with the article showing there in the content section.

I'm having a similar issue to this one again.

In article A I am linking to article B. There is a category blog for article B, but the link I add within article A goes to: /fr/component/content/article/articleBalias?catid=51:categoryAlias&Itemid=107. This results in a 404.

Wondering again if my routing is not set correctly? All types are set to Route to FC item vire and all of my menu items are Flexi types.
