Hi everyone,

I wonder if it is possible to keep user-selected filters alive when browsing from a category to an other. I would be a nice feature in catalog websites, especially when some view are prefiltered, to avoid doing a prefiltered view for each subcategories.

I actually have a category tree that isn't prefiltered, and i would like to use the same category tree but prefiltered. This option would be gracefull, is there a way to activate this ?

Actually there is categories that can be used as a filter that does the job... But it's a param un the URL and not a menu item URL. Maybe it is a good start?
In my case, i have a navigation module with a dropdown list of main categories, then a second nav item that list subcategories if i'm on a main cateogory page, and liste peer-categories if i'm in a subcat page. With the actual categories filter, i only can have a long list with level 1 & 2 subcategories, wich is not easy to handle for users. That's why i'm figuring how to achieve this. I'll come back here and push a request if i found something usefull
