Country icon and name not aligned

Is there a way to get the flag icon and the name of the country aligned onto one line, side-by-side, instead of one per line as shown on the attached record?  I have 'Space' defined as the separator in a field in Editing/Form Field/Value Separator (item form), and in Viewing/Layout/Value Separator (frontend views). In Viewing/Layout, I have "frontend display" set to "Image & value" so it shows both the country flag icon and the name of the country.
