Bug in image field?

Hi,
I discovered that the image field behaviour changed. Don't know when this happened. If I set a custom link the link is ignored and klicking on the image in a blog view is just openening the article but not the custom link. Please have a look here  www.muenstermann.com/en/ . The first article (curing oven can be ignored). The other articles have a custom link for the image that is ignored (the images are realized using an image field).

About item view

i see that the images do not link to anywhere
but i am not sure that i clicked to an article with a link

i have tested just now with link to URL inside fancybox and it works

Can you test with item view, if you confirm that you have an item view where it is not working you can send me a PM with access and mention the article that you are using as an example

Hi, the images in category view are not images from Joomla fields, the images are reialized with a FC field. The FC image field allows to add a custom link. This worked for years. The teaser artikels shall not open the full article but custom content. If you click on the button links (not the first teaser article) you will see that specific content is shown. The images now link to the full article (actually there is full article because the whole content is just the teaser content), but they should not, because of the custom link in the image field.

i think i see what you case is
you have category view with the "blog" category layout

in this case
- the code to check the custom link and use it is done by code of the "blog" category layout
so we must look there at the code of the 'blog' category layout

Yes. A recent FC update must have had some code changes..
