Create a link between items

But anyway : it doesn't explain me why I can get the same behavior with two similar installations.

Ok, relation field works great, but what if I want to make a link in plain text or on a picture directly in the main article ?

Could you help me with this check list.
- Flexicontent should be pointing to root category ?

- using JCE and last flexi version, should I use something special like advenced link ? I've seen that this plugin is very old and didn't install it. Something to use instead ? A hold post from ggppdk was talking about automatic installation, but I can't find this plugin in my joomla installation.

- Is there a way to link only to item's ID, as I don't know now if this item will stay in that category or switch to another ?
