How users can subscribe to category?
I mean to get email notifications when new items added in this category?
Also, is there notifications module?

for now it doesn't exist because we have multi category item ... and need some work to achieve this feature

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

We need subscription only for current category...
No matter other categories.
This is a topical question.
Users must have ability to subscribe on category updates.

Hello

Actually subscribing to category is implemented ...
The display, the AJAX tasks, the DB changes are done ...

but it is disabled
because
- there is need to add some configuration for it
- and also some coding to hande the triggering of the notifications which is a little different than items

in short this is unfinished work
