Since already 3 clients on different live websites can not work anymore, this is getting urgent.

Verify ACL and check a small number of related configuration (e.g. for "create items" ACL ) there is a parameter to enable it
After you get configuration saved and working
Then wait to see if the issue reappears while having 3.3.1.3

the problem seems to be gone for now.
(meanwhile, all websites were updated to FC 3.3.1.3 via the standard update process.)
