How to properly disable FlexiContent Module?

How to properly disable FlexiContent Module? was created by sanji

Whenever I try to disable this extension, I'm getting an error in Article and Categories under Content menu

you need to unstall it because you need to disable other extension
just a light question why ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

if you have installed FLEXIcontent recently and not going to use it you can just uninsall the "Component" from Joomla Extension manager

the above will also uninstall Flexicontent plugins and modules
