Is this the extension I've been looking for? Please help was created by sanji

Hello. So I'm transitioning from WordPress to Joomla!. I've learned that they are not interchangeable. Basically, what I need is for end-users to add people and fill in some fields (e.g. name, room number, tel no, specialty, etc.). This would be easy for me in WP. All I need is create a custom post type, add some advanced custom fields to it and make a shortcode of it and paste in the builder. However, in Joomla!, I have no idea where to start. Can you guys please show me what to do ? Thanks so much.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
