Hello,

I can't get why twitter does not use the 1200x630 pixels picture I put in the field Image under the Social tab of the Item...

Twitter finds a picture, but a small one.

When I check under Twitter card validator, this is what I read :

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 27 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = summary_large_image tag found
INFO: Card loaded successfully

Where am I supposed to say to Twitter : use the big and nice picture in the Image field under the Social tab??

Thank you for your help :)

Yes.
And it was working perfectly fine until february 12th. (at least)
When I check my tweets, I can see than all of them until this date were using the right image.
The next tweet is on february 27 and is already using a small ugly picture.
I don't get why, bacause I haven't changed anything around this day.

EDIT: weird result when I change the size of the image under the social meta plugin (component tab).
It was set on 'medium'. i turned it on 'large' to see if the result was going to be better than previous.
It is but... not with the right picture !
It still do not pick the 1200x630 jpg.
It just picks a larger picture... but the picture of the 'next page' button at the bottom of the article !!
= the image shown is not the image of the article but the one of the next article...

EDIT 2: it seems that I found the right setting.
Still under the component tab of the social meta plugin, the 'personalized image field' was set on 'Image Fancybox'.
I turned it off (leaving the dropdown on : FLEXI_PLEASE_SELECT)
Then I tried another tweet and ... YESSS ! IT WORKS FINE AGAIN !!

So you can close this post.
