Hello

as said it is not implemented
it would need some little or medium amount of work (aka spend some) on it to be able to support field-groups

and the above is not planned for near future, actually the next work to be done in the field will be UX (user experience improvements, to allow easier selection of related items in item form)

The relation field has received recently support for custom layout files and also indirect locked filtering in category views (see locked filter values parameter in category view configuration)

and in general it has been a field that has received a lot of work / effort
supporting several advanced features

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

has i say we can provide code dev for free sorry we already offer component + support
