Just delete everything in the file. Of course it is an additional file called opening a page, but if it is empty it won't be a big issue!

Yes, I did not find the option for this.
But may be I can remove code that calls this file?

Yes, I already removed all code from this file. But now I have an extra useless request to the server.

If your site have 20K traffic per day - you will have 20K extra requests on server.

Ok. Then why not using only item.css putting all css code into the file?
