there is no configuration options for automatic creation of META

It's a pity!
It would be very useful, be able to create a meta description and title based on custom fields

yes it would be nice, i agree it would useful

but first these should be done:

- bugs / performance,
- some more UX improvements,
- finishing updates needed for J4,
- finishing endless scroll
- finishing reviews
- syncing with Joomla native tags
- finishing some new unfinished fields
- aggregated display of fields for category view , e.g. a total, an average, a max, a min, etc

if other small features are common and need -little- time then yes
then they could be done before the above

now implementing automatic meta description should be very similar !
