find article version in the DB

Hi there, in our site is an article that we would like to see all of the versions of, however, we did not have that feature turned on in flexicontent as part of our normal setup, is that information available at all in the DB or is it not even stored? If it is available how can i find it via phpMyadmin if that is appropriate.

what does the above mean ?
see them where ? (e.g. in items manager) and see the in what form ?

now you can only see them in item form

but if you had turn off "versioning" (by default it is enabled) then no versions were saved

We would like to be able to access older versions of articles that have been published. To see who made edits to the article and what they did.

In the attachment we have had this off, so is version control even available since it was off?
