Hi @ all,

i have a website with latest stable flexicontent and falang.

i translate my items native with "Language Associations" but when i switch through the language switcher to another language, the url is not like it should be:
" www.homepage.com/en/ " becomes " www.homepage.com/de/8-start/45-startseite.html " ,its the same with all other links which point to a single article. Category links are working with falang translation.

Please help me.
ggppdk if you like i send you a pm with login data.

Thanks in advance!

Im using latest joomla and latest Flexicontent

I did not upgrade falang, I installed both latest stable versions FC 3.1.1 and Falang 2.8.4, created content items in my default language (english) and then translated my items through the items Language Associations. Everything else like menu links, modules,... are translated through Falang.

Hello

i think i understand you now

your home page menu item points to a FLEXIcontent item, right ?

Question, have you made homepage menu items of other languages point to the other FLEXIcontent items ?

If you have done the above, then if you remove the language associations only for the 2 or 3 flexicontent items that are meant to be used as home page, then do you get the desired shorter URLs of just
domain/lang/
