How to build a author article list with author's avatar and more

I want to create a author's post list view, and I want to let author can upload there own avatar image and write some description about theme.

I can find Author 's profile select field in user tab. after I selected the article, what will happened or what should I do more to make the article's content relate to the author's post list?

2.Can I limited the categores of the author's post in the author's page?

or waiting 3.7 with custom field in profile

Since we have author item listing view,
An authors listing view,
- should have been done in v3.1.0, but it was not added
we will add this in short term (during December) but you can not use now

I have set to the existing issue a v3.1.2 milestone (may change to v3.1.3)

- the author listing should make use of various data (via configuration parameter)
a. Joomla profile data
b. Community builder
c. Jomsocial , etc

For Start will add the listing of only using a. Joomla data (v3.1.2 or v3.1.3)


About adding extra details to the user there are already plugin at JED that allow you to add extra fields
- to the profile form of the user
including an image

so I can create a item type and pin it to the list top. show it as a profile information. How to always pin a item in a author view?

there is a bug for using a FLEXIcontent item as "author details/profile"

will be fixed in v3.1.2, will release it on next Weekend
