Universal Content Module - how to order by matching field

Hi,
I have a Universal Content Module, which filters items (e.g. books) based on certain field (e.g. topic).

Within the filtered items, I would like to order them in a way that the items with another matching field (e.g. author) will be displayed first, but then other items (from other authors) will be displayed as well.

Does the custom field ordering in Universal Content Module allow this, or does it simply order by that field alphabetically? Is there another way to do it?

Hello

- you can order by custom field
- you can order 2 levels and both can be custom field
- you can include items with no value for a field in the listing that have no value and these can be placed last
