File manager - tree structure and files update was created by SlimBuddha

Hi,
i m evaluating FLEXIContent for a customer and i would like to have some informations about some features involving the file manager:
1- I need to have a tree structure to organize files in different folders
2- Now, i m not able with FLEXIContent to update an existing file: i should have to delete it and add the new file losing any relation between that file and any articles..
Is there any plugin or other solution to provide these features? Or they will be considered in future roadmap?

Hello

What you describe has been thought / discussed before
I have made a new issue for v3.1 :
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/issues/486
- currently you can not use these feature they are not implemented

Possibly a workaround can be to upload your files to Joomla media manager, then add files as "URLs"
- but i understand that this is not 1 step process and if you have frontend users then the above is not usable
- about changing uploaded files currently it is not allowed, you can only change "files URLs"
