I get the following error when a "select field" for an article in not set with any value.

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$positions in C:\Users\****\Desktop\XAMPP\htdocs\joomla01\components\com_flexicontent\templates\blog\item.php on line 37
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Users\****\Desktop\XAMPP\htdocs\joomla01\components\com_flexicontent\templates\blog\item.php on line 37

What could the problem be?
When there is no value, I just don't want anything displayed. I thought that was the standard way things worked with Flexi.

This had something to do with blog template. The error disappeared after hanging it to default .

Hello all,

I have the same problem. I have installed the version v3.0.13 and now the template "blog" causes problems.
Either, there is the warning message or the content in another language (Falang) is not displayed at all.
So, is the template BLOG corrupt now? What is the method to fix ist?

Kind regards
Alentigo

Hello

in FLEXIcontent backend
- go to templates and edit the "blog" 'item' layout (single item)
and save it once

does it work ?
if not then you may send me a PM with admin access

Hello

i found the issue

the blog "item layout" does not have any fields in positions by default configuration

- the warning message is harmless (if you disable Error reporting in Joomla configuration) it will go away

i will add small fix for it in v3.0.14, so that it does not get printed

Hello again,

There are two problems with the template BLOG.
1. The item view raises the error warning. Ok.I can live with that.
2. I am running a site with FALANG and two languages. When the error messages appear, then for the second language the itme is not shown at all. The item disappear.

I didn't understand this sentence:
the blog "item layout" does not have any fields in positions by default configuration
Just to change something, I did assign a field to some area in the BLOG template...but that didn't fix the problem.

Kind regards
Alentigo
