Hi, I'd like to set the "Document type" named "Article" as standard for new Articles (I have no other Document types). So that the (frontend) users should have no selection box for the Document type. Is this possible?

Thx!

Michael

=> in your item submission link for front you can select type that hide this field for user

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

it is possible in 2 ways

- use a submit menu item and select in it a specific type

or

- in type configuration enable "create ACL" permission and for the usergroup of the users only allow a specific type

Thank You! I need the second one, because there is a Add-Button in the Frontend after Login

in type configuration enable "create ACL" permission and for the usergroup of the users only allow a specific type

But how becomes the selection box "Document type" (that appears, when the frontend-user adds Content) completely hidden?
Thx!

Hello

you can edit the type configuration of the desire type e.g. article
and for FRONTENDitem form TAB (item form FE)
find the CSS parameter and add CSS to hide
- the label and the field
... {display: none;}

(examine with firebug or browser tool to find the CSS name of the container)
