Hide Description in Category View

I searched the forum but cannot find an answer to my task.

I created a tagged items menu on the right hand side (Produktgruppen).
I created a template to show the tagged items on the left side.
Whatever I do, the description always shows up.
I need only the titles in a list, linked to the corresponding article (works).

This is what happens when an articel has text. I enabled "hide intro text" but the text still shows up.

This is like it should appear (could hide the text via css diplay: noe, but is this a good solution?).

Can anyone give me a hint, what to do?

Hello

Tagged items menu , use category view to list the items,
- thus a template is used

- Look at which template you are using and then go to template manager and edit it, to add remove fields in position and via its parameters

- Also it best to creat a new template (copy an existing template) and then click to edit it
remember to select the new template in the menu item

I asume you are talking about the flexicontent template.
I used the "blog" template and copied it.

Then I looked at the source code and found the description in this div: <div class="lineinfo image_descr"><p></p><p>xxx</p><p></p></div>

"xxx" ist the item's description (why does it show in "image_descr"?)

So I searched for this div in the copied template, and removed it. The "xxx" was gone in the items list but when clicking the title (linked) it showed the article also without content. So I changed it back again to the "blog" template.

Finaly I gave up and used the "deafult" template. Here it worked as I wanted.

Still I would like a template without columns. Any idea waht I did wrong?

Hello

"blog" template always displays description in category view
- you can use a copy of "presentation" template
