Thanks Mike for sharing your solution.

Another, benefit of a plugin for me is I often use www.jch-optimize.net/ to compress the files and even if you unset in the template file it still includes the styles and js by default from the component. The plugin seems easier for me to remember!

Hello

- we have component parameters to disable (aka site developer, can manually handle the loading of JS and CSS) in the frontend
- you may try them and report if some parameter is not respected,
- i have opened an issue to verify this

we need to verify if these are respected in ALL our code, the way that we load JS is via:

Code:

flexicontent_html::loadFramework(...)

and this must be used everywhere
- if it is not used then it would be a bug on our side

also verify that loadFramework uses correct parameter names

also if we have some JS libraries that do not have a parameter, then we should add one
