Hello

you should plan your update to v3.0.8+

about changes that you need to worry about,
- mostly CSS which may effect frontend display,
- fields will not be shown if you have not assigned the to type (e.g. loadmodule, or reverse related, just edit field and assign it to the type)
- and if something in default behaviour is differrent, you can restore previous behaviour by setting component level parameters

you can also do a full-website backup, mostly for the case that upgrade is interrupted
