Categories and subcategories in directory view

Categories and subcategories in directory view was created by Liggie

I would like to know if it is possible in the content list filter module, to make different selection options for cagegories and subcategories. I like the demosite with the advanced search module, however I am missing documentation on how to accompish such a thing.

can you explain more with screenshot or link ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Of course. On the demo site you can choose topics and compatibility. See enclosed screenshot.

Hello

1. every category can have different filters,

2. you can configure content list filtering module not show specific filters and instead to show filters of "current category"

NOTE:
-- currently the module can display filters ONLY if current view is FLEXIcontent category view,

e.g. if current view is Joomla login then it will not display filters values of target category, this was recently fixed and will be in v2.2.0 RC2

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.

In Joomla 3.3 I would like to hide subcategories in my "Directory" view in Hompage but I don't find the way!
