Hi,

I am trying to get the filtering module to work on all categories - at the moment it is only showing possibility from the current category. This seems to be the same as the filtering at the top of the category items.

yachtboatbrokerage.com/new/

the top filtering is the module and the bottom is the category filtering.

If someone could help with getting either one of the filters to include all categories, I would be really grateful.

cheers

Trev

Hello

are you using v2.2.0 r1932 or v2.2.0 r1955 ?

and yes the filtering module is meant for being able to display the category filters in a module position

Hi,

I am using com_flexicontent_v2.1.3_r1857_J25_J32.zip and the issue is I cannot get the module to show all categories.

It is only showing the possibilities for the featured category, which is the category being displayed on that page.

I thought with the module, I could set it to show all categories, as the category item template filtering is constrained to that category.

cheers

Hello

Did you try to configure the category selector to be:

"Include selected categories" "
(plus include sub-category)

?
if the above does not work, it maybe bogus and always filters current category

please try v2.2.0 r1966,

after installing,
- visit FLEXIcontent dashboard, and complete post-installation tasks that you will be asked
- click CTRL-F5 to load new CSS files
- visit the module and check parameters and re-save it

NOTE: do not disable the FLEXIcontent "Advanced cache" in r1966, as this parameter is bogus

Regards
