Creating videogallerys

Hello people,

This extentions looks amazing but… i really need some explanation to achieve my goal. It's pretty overwhelming and i dont know how to do this.

My goal is to create video gallerys. Iam not hosting any thumbs or videos myself so it looks simple. I add embed code of the thumb and the video in to a article and there you go. Well, its not that easy, because the thumb image will be visible at the gallery, but also at the article itself. The imagethumb should only be visible at the category view, not in the article itself.

Second, at the gallerys (category view,) the articles (imagethumbs) are show 1 per line. But it would be much better if they are shown 4 per line. All i need is category views (gallerys) with the thumbs and names of the videos. (please see example image)

Does anyone know iam using the right extention now? Or should i search for a more fitting extention? Looks liek its possible with flexicontent but i dont know where to begin.

Hope someone can explain me where to start.

simply duplicate a blog template
1 in template position drag and drop vote in before description position
2 edit category_items.php (in your template folder)
to kill text display (is the description)
3 edit category.css to use width:25% and float:left to display it
need littl more tricks but basic is here
