Is FlexiContent accessible?

Hello,
I would really like to use FlexiContent on my website because it has all the features I need, but there's a problem: I am making an accessible site, i.e. a site that can be easily used by blind people and so on.

Does FlexiContent meets accessibility standards?

yes like joomla standart

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Is it? This depends in the template being used! Joomla standard is only really accessible using the Beez template and its overrides.
I think the long answer is that, because FlexiContent is using own templates and one is able to design them in a accessible way, it is possible to make a page accessible using FlexiContent.

Thank you for your reply.
I will try to find an accessible template or to create a new one on my own, even though I am not very experienced.

Do you know if there is any flexicontent template directory to search in, like for joomla templates?

There are a couple of templates included in the FC core. They are easy to modify (copy first) and should suit most needs. Design can be easily changed via CSS.
There is also a FAQ section about templating: www.flexicontent.org/site-conten ... ntent.html

Hello

1. about forms:
FLEXIcontent is using appropriate form field labels with for="" tag parameter to match the form fields almost everywhere (although you can disable some label or place labels inside fields)

2. about color / font-sizes, there are appropriate CSS classes in most places that you can use in your CSS file

3. about other,
e.g. compliance to NNN standard or TTT standard,

i must admit we have not studied it more through,
so i don't have more comments now,

but i guess we will make improvements according to specific suggestions of our users
