the sorting of a TABLE via javascript is possible, and not that difficult to implement via a custom template,

but is useful only if your all items fit inside a single page, e.g. you have 100 items in your category

I presented on the same page a lot of activities, and I would like that when you click on the heading of the table the user can sort by date, city, ... possible?

of course it is to add JS that does this, there are a lot of solution in the WEB available that you can add to your custom template

FLEXIcontent , Joomla, and other CMS , etc are multi-paged the instant JS sorting in a mult-page site will not work as expected, as i explained above so it is not included as a built-in feature

e.g. a category has 20 pages with 50 items in each page

the JS instant sorting will sort only the 50 items inside the current page
