Hello,

I would like to know if there is the possibility (and how) to let the fronend author/editor to save the item content without having an admin to approve :geek: It would be awesome.

Now, even though an admin kindly answered to my previous topic www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic , i still wonder if there is any of you endusers who has a method of JUST hiding the description for author/editor (i dont want them to be able to edit the descriptions of the item).

Best wishes!

Hello

this same as in joomla, you can give users:

edit.state ... but this is not convenient ...

-- FLEXIcontent has edit.state.own which is more convenient

... so give your user the publish owned item privilege
(edit.state.own)

-- do this by going to component settings / Permissions
and then give to the desired usergroup:

publish own (edit.state.own)

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
-- Add your voice to the FLEXIcontent JED listing with a 5-star...
