Delete items completely from front end

Hi friends,
recently I find the problem with registered users can not DEFINITELY delete the item from the front end. I've been looking at these two links:

and as mentioned will look at the next version of flexicontent, in the version that we are permitted or will be in the next version?

Any idea how can I do that registered users to delete completely item from the front end?

Hello

there is a permission in Joomla
'delete'

and we also have

'delete.own' (i can delete files that i own)

-- we could add a button to call the delete task
i think a new parameter:
parameter NAME: "allow frontend deletion"
parameter DESCRIPTION: This will allow frontend users to delete files on which the have the ACL access to do so

-- just currently the frontend will show 'trashed' items only if they are OWNED by current user

so this will work only for people owning items and also having ACL privilege 'delete.own'

the above is easy to add, in other cases, it would need more work, and will not do in near future

most common need (95% of case) is for people having delete.own

- usually other user with global delete are admins and they use the backend

this is an open enhancement in our bug tracker , i have raised the importance of it

medium-->high (= next couple of months)

but no promises
