Customize state toggler was created by brandonking

Hello,

I want to customize state toggler.

Instead of dropdown with icons, I prefer buttons with text(editable).
And I only want to display publish/unpublish.

It would be nice to customize for each content type.

Hello

1. the user will not be able to see things that he cannot do

maybe you can do this with removing some ACL privileges from the user ?

2. also each page contains ... type CSS class
so maybe you can use CSS to hide the nth-element of it

(and i know some parameter would be a cleaner thing ...)

maybe you can do this with removing some ACL privileges from the user ?

I have tried to find setting to remove some ACL privileges but there isn't. I only see Items/Categories (inherited): edit state own in permissions tab in Global setting.

Where can I find such settings to remove Draft, Pending Approval, In progress?
