[multibox legitimate use] Why iframes in code source ?

Hi,

Trying to edit css via firebug, I discovered that contents ( in category view and in item view ) appear as iframe in code source:
Code:
<iframe id="OverlayIframe" name="OverlayIframe" src="javascript:void(0);" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; opacity: 0; z-index: 101;"></iframe>

For example in blog template I have direct HTML in code source, but when I duplicate presentation template, contents will appear inside iframe.

Why this, Is there any parameter i missed ?
( I don't like iframes )

Hello

this is added by the multibox image handling JS script

and this use of iframe is not bad at all,
1- it is not added by some user in some editor, it is added by the system
2- it is not bad for SEO because it contains data already in the parent HTML frame
3- bookmarking to this iframe is not needed

Regards

Thanks for your reply.

No way to desactivate this ?

I generally use Firebug or chrome/inspect element to identify the right file and css property to modify.
This is for me faster than spending time to understand how is template structure...

Hello

this is usually used by the FLEXIcontent image/image gallery field
so edit your image/image gallery field and find parameter:

Gallery Layout
-- change it something different than multibox

can i ask why you don't want this iframe ?

Regards

i don't like iframes for seo purpose of course, and in this case because I was not able to identify css properties inside.
But I was confused by Chrome/inspect function which show only iframe and not content (js should be "on")

But this is particular to chrome i think, because you are right, source code is clean, and Firebug show what I need. Then it'is ok for me
