Questions about Voting

Hello again!
I have 2 questions about Voting:

1. How can I order the displayed contents of a Category by the average of their Votes?
I can't find this option in the Primary Order and in the Custom Field Order.

2. Is it possible to avoid a user to vote for his own content?

do you suggest to have option to allow it only to registered users?

1. Do you have an estimate date of when a new version with this feature will be available? Because it is a vital function for my project, and without this I think I'll have to change CCK.
2. I think that option would be great. Also, an option to avoid that the author of a content can vote his own content would be great!

about 1: these exist in universal content module and we intended to add these at some point, about next release , because we are working on J3.x support i would say 2 weeks. (maybe i can give you patch earlier)

about 2:
you understand that
-- preventing author to vote for his content would be possible only if you limit the voting capability to registered users
-- limiting the voting to capability registered users allow greater controller over duplicate voting, (now a user can make double voting if he does both of 2 things: close browser and also change IP (or a different IP makes a new vote) )

So you mean that in next release there will be the possibility to order displayed contents of a Category by the average of their ratings? If I understood correctly this is absolutely great!

This would be even greater! I'm using FlexiContent for a university project, and I'm quite close to the deadline. You would save my life! LOL

Hello, no patch, since there are a few files changes,

so i will commit changes to our source repository, and and wait for a public package, if you really want to use now, i could make a build for testing but do not install to a live site
