PhpThumb error to show image in social media Facebook

I use
version FlexiContent : RC 9b 1601
version Joomla : 1.5.26
RSS Graffiti : beta 2
> Site homepage
> Page facebook where RSS graffiti is used

Problem : no thumbnail image found by the phpthumb library to show image extract from articles in facebook page.
Note : images are on articles headline with a "read more" link.
See the result in attached piece.

After searchs on this forum and google, i don't have found good explanations to solve this problem.

More infos on this problem :

First of all, this problem appear after the update from FC 1.5.6 beta2/build 922 to FC 1.5.6 RC9b/build 1601

Call the image seems to be correct with the script phpThumb.php. The following HTML code is generated by Facebook. This code inserts the image in the background using a CSS style like this:
The direct link to the background image exist on the Apache server (the image seem not to be caching by the phpthumb system, just croping and resizing) :
http://www.uncfs.org/components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=/images/actus_2013/2013_02_15_BAST-ITA.jpg&w=100&h=80&aoe=1&q=95&zc=1

So i have some headaches because i don't understand how work the phpthumb caching system because it don't work as it should!

Thank you for any help or trail that would allow me to view pictures of the items in the social network Facebook, as was previously the case.

Any Luck with This? It seems this issue is with the use of '&' instead of just the '&' in the image tag.

I'm having the same issue in other feed readers.

at first update to lastest stable version
flexicontent.org/downloads/latest-version.html
and after cleanning chache test it

Try this:
-- edit the category_items.php or category_items.php of your template (examine your category to see which FLEXIcontent template it uses)

and replace:
&
with
&


Then wait login/logout from facebook, (you may have to wait a couple of hours since facebook cache pages when trying to link)

and then try to share to facebook
