Translation of category and field names

Hi Rooney,

Did you find a proper solution of how to translate the field names and make it multilingual? If not, this extensions.joomla.org/extensions/languag...ingual-content/20036 might be a solution for you as I am using the same on two of my websites and it works just fine.

At this instance, you only have to translate the field title just like
Code:
{langck=fr-FR}Texte Français{/langck}{langck=en-EN}English Text{/langck}

If you decide to use this solution, do not translate the alias, the alias should remain something like field_mytext or you can left it as the default alias auto-generated by FC.

You can use this code for the description of the field as well but the description should not be that long as the description field is limited to around 100 characters I guess, if you add more than the number of character limited.

I saw that this is not in the stable version. Do you have any roadmap for implementation?

I understand the importance and utility of listing associated item translations together with each item (in compact way of course),

This was not too much code, it is implemented,

just did not have time to test and include it in stable, (of the very few addition to be made to 2.0.1) together with any minor bug-fixes of bug that will be reported on v2.0.0

Or maybe to v2.1 if we add J3.0 support sooner than a week

Regards
