Beginners help..

Hello.

I have just installed Flexicontent because i was looking for a better administrativ tool to optimize my site in terms of relativ meta data, and article flexibility. And im sorry to say that im stuck, i dont really understand what to do to get my old existing site imported to work with Flexicontent. I did as showed the tutorial video, I importetd Joomla structure, and I found a post here on the forum of how to ad a menu item. So this is done! But what do i do now? I have spent the last hour on this forum reading up on related topics, so i now understand that me having all my articles uncategorized is a problem. So i changes category on one of my articles, and yes, it appared in Flexicontent. But the changes i made in this article didnt show on the front end of my website, which still displayed the article as before.

Im sure its just a small silly thing i have overlooked here or there which will make me understand it all, but right now im just stuck here not knowing what i should do to get started. I suggest maybe posting a topic called "walkthrough for dummies" or something for us beginners where you step by step explane how to import the original Joomla content to Flexicontent and how to make it work as your main administativ system. Or at least help me to do this

Have you made or updated your menu links to go to your FlexiContent rather than the default articles/section/categories in Joomla?

No i have not:) But i will try now though. ..

Its things like this i mean! It would be a nice with a tutorial that explain small things like that.. for all us which is lost outside the framework joomla provide for us.

I wrote a pretty basic tutorial, doesn't go into great detail but goes through the very essentials on getting content created.
